Our latest project – Mitsubishi split system installation at Bondi.

New week – new installation! Recently our team installed a small 2.5kw split system for a bedroom in a block of apartments in the Bondi area.

That is pretty much what back to back installation means. The indoor unit is installed in a corner as close to the external wall as possible and the outdoor unit sits on a balcony right behind that wall.

The only reason why we put the indoor unit in a corner and not in the middle above the bed is to minimise the visual impact of pipes and cables coming out of the indoor unit. Otherwise installation of the internal pipe casing is required.

The outdoor unit installed on a balcony floor was lifted and placed on rubber feets to keep some clearance between the ground and the bottom part of the ac.
